Isolee tore up the house last night @ Rx. Hanging afterward, I found him quite mild-mannered in a kindly fashion, particularly fond of his brotchen, cheeses and breakfast jams. Ah yes, and his bambi too (check out www.isolee.de).The new Boards of Canada album still disappoints, but these other albums are good:
Sigur Ros — ‘Takk’ (Spectacular)
Naw — ‘Green Nights Orange Days’ (This Canadian ambient/microhouse act would do well with any Kandis, Fehlmann, or Bering fan)
Antipop Consortium — ‘Arrhythmia’ (Perfect antidote to e-overload)
