If you’re in the Bay area and are interested in letterpress, printmaking, book-binding, or making pretty things in general, come stop by the Annual Book Arts and Printers’ Fair this Saturday! It’s a free, all-day event sponsored by the Pacific Center for the Book Arts (PCBA) and features workshops and plenty of eye candy for your visual delight.

I’ll be there with Logos Graphics to demo some nifty handmade books, from gathering book signatures together to using archival linen tape binding and a mirrored sewing structure. John and Susan will also give live demos of scratch foam printmaking, plus the usage of ink-jet film positives, Boxcar bases and photopolymer plates for letterpress.
