On the artists:
- Hailing from Edmonton, Canada, Mark Templeton comes to San Francisco after celebrating a live performance at Mutek as well as the release of Standing On A Hummingbird, an exquisitely refined collection of gossamer sounds.
- Roddy Schrock, who delves into the everyday for the profound, will also perform alongside visual artist Jano Cortjio, whose work explores the icons of daily life and highlights the radicality of domesticity. Together they will create an immersive audiovisual space for reflection.
- Finally, Ruoho Ruotsi, who recently appeared with Fourtet and Alex Smoke on Steve Reich’s recent “Remixed 2006,” offers a modern, downtempo dub aspect to the evening. As the labelhead of De’fchild Productions, he has worked with such notable artists as Deadbeat, Pheek, Süz and Ali Khan.
- Additional sounds will be provided by DJ Pand0ra, who has graced both radio airwaves and numerous San Francisco events including the former weekly ‘Node’ party at the anime bar POW!
