About
Designer/DJ/Culture junkie/Cool hunter at large. I’m interested in the intersection of several different forms of media, sound, and visual expression. This comes from having an education in architecture, design, and art history; a professional background in new media, letterpress and event planning; and a great passion in electronic music and cultural collaboratives, and performing groups ranging from classical to punk and glitch/microsound.
Over the past 12 years, I’ve also helped to produce events in the United States and Europe, ranging from national conferences for nonprofit organizations to concerts, club events, gallery exhibitions, and art and film festivals. My work in painting and film have been exhibited in New York City, Stockholm, Sao Paolo, and Madrid.
You can also find me elsewhere online. Otherwise, feel free to drop a line at solsken [at] gmail [dot] com.

Hi,
I discovered your blog through upcoming.org. You seem to have some really interesting perspectives about a lot of different cultural facets.
I run a small creative technology firm in the Bay Area and am working on a project (for ourselves, not our clients) that’s very interesting and along the lines of something that I think you would have a strong sensibility for as it’s a unique way to connect with the people and culture(s) around you. I was wondering if you may be available for any freelance gigs for design. Pls let me know. My email address is phillymorning@gmail.com. Thanks!
